Veltrio Sport is an independent publication covering football, cricket, American football and Formula 1. We explain the decisions behind the action and put sporting developments in context.

Facts first. Perspective second.

News stories link to their sources. A confirmed transfer comes from a club, league or player announcement. Results are checked against official match records. Rule-change reports distinguish a proposal from an adopted rule and state when it takes effect. Opinions and explainers are not presented as breaking news.

Original writing and careful attribution

We use original wording and limited, attributed quotations. We do not reproduce complete articles, broadcasts or unlicensed photographs. Archive photographs illustrate a subject and do not necessarily depict the event discussed.

Translations and assistance

Some writing and translations are prepared with AI assistance. Our publishing workflow requires a factual, language and rights check. Translations have separate article pages; an unavailable translation is not silently replaced with another language.

Corrections

To report an error, contact the editor through the publication’s GitHub repository: Veltrio Sport. Include the article title, the disputed detail and a reliable source. Access to that repository is restricted while the publication is being prepared.

Photography

Archive photographs illustrate the sport and do not depict the reported event. Sports-star images are credited under their individual Creative Commons licences below; other archive images use the Unsplash License.
